Our Annual Car Show Supports The Children of Moore

The Kiwanis Club of Moore was established to assist the children in the community & school district with health, food, education and clothing needs.

Active since 2017, the club has raised over $60,000 to help Oklahoma children through the Children’s Health Foundation (CHF). Our primary fundraiser is an Annual Car Show and held at the end of August each year. Our third year (2022) of the car show, we were able to raise over $26,000 with matching funds.

Building Leadership

The Moore Kiwanis Club is a proud sponsor of several Service Leadership Programs (SLP).

We are focusing our efforts to help children in Moore elementary schools through the Bringing Up Grades (BUG) program. At the moment we are in Central Elementary School. Our goal is to be in each elementary school in the next 5 year. BUG is a program that encourages students to raise a letter grade in one or more areas of study. The child’s name is entered in a drawing for one of the 4 bikes that we give away at the end of the school year.

The Moore Kiwanis Club is a proud sponsor of several Service Leadership Programs (SLP). We are working with Key Club at Southmoore High School, CKI at Oklahoma City University and Aktion Club of Santa Fe Place.
